I have met people who have now come and gone from KL, in the two little years that I have been here. When I was in Dubai, that happened quite a lot too. The price of living abroad (apart from being away from family) is that we know that the friends we make along the way will leave at some point in the near future or we will be the one to leave before they do. The bright side of that is that we also have friends all over the world at the end of it and fantastic travel opportunities!
I will say it time and time again, I love ‘working” with families who are happy to do the things they do and let me capture that. It’s even more important when, like for Nicole’s family, living in KL has been great (this is the place where little Robbie was born) and they are so fond of the time they have had here. They have made good friends, Robbie has made his best friend (who I happened to photograph too a few months before!).
Soon due to depart, I have been lucky to photograph them in their home, in the environment they loved for the time they were here, doing the things they enjoyed. All the best in your next destination, and Robbie keep that permanent smile on your gorgeous face!
